About

Anna Moore is a follower of Jesus, a wife, sister, friend, and writer.

Originally from western Kentucky where she grew up with three older sisters, she moved to West Virginia when she was 25 where she started a new job and visited a local church. In search for a fresh start and larger purpose, she found that and so much more. She still attends (and is a member of!) that same church and even met her husband there. They have been married six years and reside in West Virginia.

Anna has a bachelor’s of arts degree in journalism from Murray State University and has been writing her entire career. Through the years she has worked for local daily newspapers, a local TV news station, a public university, and a state-wide magazine. Most recently, God led her to pursue her writing and editing career further in a ministry capacity for Samaritan Ministries International. There, she gets to use her journalism toolkit to write for and edit the member newsletter. She also writes on her blog and distributes a newsletter, Magnify, once per quarter.

The mission for Anna’s work is:

To glorify Christ and point to Him in all she writes. To encourage and equip the Kingdom of God by sharing God’s promises and teaching truth from His Word. To pique curiosity in a watching world and declare the Good News of the Gospel.

I’m Anna

I’m a follower of Jesus, a lover of good stories, and a firm believer that nothing is wasted in God’s hands.

In 2017, I packed up my life and moved to a new state, craving a fresh start. What I found was so much more than a new zip code — I encountered Jesus in a way that reshaped everything.

Since then, I’ve been learning to walk more closely with Him — through everyday moments, Holy Spirit-led revelations, and the unexpected turns of life. I write to share some of that journey, in hopes it encourages you in yours and points you to our wonderful Creator.

So glad you’re here, friend. Let’s keep growing in grace together.
